Oanh (Anne) Nguyen: Anne was born in Vietnam and came to Australia as a refugee with my parents and younger sister when she was 3. Growing up Anne had many interests and enjoyed the outdoors. As a Girl Guide she was exposed to camping and hiking, she enjoyed Vo Vi Nam, a form of martial arts originating in Vietnam and I also played soccer for a local team. Anne joined a gym, and later through the suggestion of a friend became a Group Fitness Instructor and eventually became a qualified Persoanl Trainer. Anne writes what she knows through her own research/ readings. having a professional background as a medical scientist also allows her to have great attention to detail.
